Asking not because this is a problem per se, but because I cannot find anyone else mentioning this - all other "black screen" or "black window" problems refer to install hangs.Īfter the El Capitan upgrade, every new program window shows as solid black (with white corners) for several seconds (sometimes as long as 15-30 seconds) before the display kicks in and renders it correctly.
